How to verify a UAE job offer and employment contract on MOHRE

A logo and a PDF do not prove that a UAE job offer is real. The useful check is whether the legal employer, job title, pay, and hours match an official record when that stage exists, and whether the next request is a normal written step. This guide shows what to prepare, how to use official MOHRE channels, and what to do if details do not match or no record is found. UAE Work Hub is not connected to MOHRE and cannot certify an offer. Re-check on https://eservices.mohre.gov.ae/ and https://www.mohre.gov.ae/. Screens change. A missing record is not automatic proof of a scam.

What a check can and cannot prove

MOHRE is the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation. It is a UAE government body that publishes labour rules and runs electronic services for work permits and related records. A matching official record can support trust. It does not replace reading the contract, checking who you are speaking to, or refusing an unsafe payment request.

What to prepare

Collect the facts you will compare. Do not publish them on social media and do not type secret codes into this site.

For the current warehouse vacancy described on this site, a written offer should let you compare basic pay in the AED 2,200 to AED 2,500 range, an 8-hour day and 6-day week, Dubai South / Jebel Ali if that is the site you were shown, accommodation, work transport, and three daily meals. Confirm the offer keeps breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Overtime, if mentioned, is eligible only when hours are worked and approved. An illustrative reading uses formula version UAE_OT_2026_09: 1.25 times for ordinary overtime and 1.50 times for night and rest-day overtime, on a simple basic divided by 30 divided by 8 basis. That formula is for understanding, not a payslip.

A step-by-step check

Official screens change. This page therefore does not give button names that may be wrong next month. Use the live MOHRE sites as the source of the current form.

  1. Open https://www.mohre.gov.ae/ or https://eservices.mohre.gov.ae/ by typing the address or using a bookmark you trust. Do not start from a random advertisement link.
  2. Look for the public service that lets you inquire about a work permit, contract, or job offer. The label on the site is the one that matters, not the label in a forwarded screenshot.
  3. Enter only the details the official form asks for. If you do not have a field, do not invent it.
  4. Read the result on the official page. Take a date-stamped note for yourself. Do not send your login or OTP to anyone who offers to check for you.
  5. Compare each field with your offer using the table below.
  6. If the website asks you to create an account, use your own contact details and keep the password private.
  7. If you cannot find the service, use the contact or help options on mohre.gov.ae rather than a helper who asks for a personal payment.

UAE identity and residency context sits with ICP at https://icp.gov.ae/. Indian emigration steps sit with eMigrate at https://emigrate.gov.in/ and the Ministry of External Affairs at https://www.mea.gov.in/. Those sites answer different questions from a MOHRE labour record.

Fields that should match

Match means the same legal meaning, not a decorative logo. Small wording differences can be normal. A different employer, a different basic salary, or a different job family is not a small wording difference.

FieldOffer letter or contractOfficial record when it existsHR messages
Employer legal nameMust be printedShould be the same legal personMust not switch to a new company without a written explanation
Your nameMust match the passportMust match the passportMust use the same spelling
Job titleMust be readableShould describe the same workMust not silently become another role
Basic salaryMust show a monthly AED figureShould match that figureMust not replace it with a vague package only
Hours and rest dayShould state scheduled hoursCompare if shownShould match 8 hours and 6 days if that is what you accepted
LocationShould name emirate or areaCompare if shownShould not move you to an unnamed city
Housing and transportShould say provided or notMay not list every benefitMust match the written offer. Three daily meals are included on the current vacancy.

If overtime is discussed, keep it separate from basic pay. Eligible overtime is not a guaranteed extra salary. Confirm the written rule, then treat any number from formula UAE_OT_2026_09 as an illustration only.

Offer letter, contract and work permit

These papers can appear at different times. One format is not universal for every employer or every emirate.

Use the employment contract checklist at /tools/uae-employment-contract-checker/ to see which terms are present. That tool is not a legal opinion and not a MOHRE certificate.

What to do if details do not match

A mismatch is a stop sign for extra payments and extra scans, not a moment to argue in a hurry.

  1. Pause. Do not pay a personal account and do not send an OTP.
  2. Save the offer, the official screen, and the chat in a folder you control.
  3. Write a short list: which field differs, on which date, on which document.
  4. Contact the HR address you already verified, not a new number that appeared after the mismatch.
  5. Ask for a written correction or a written explanation.
  6. Do not travel, resign, or share more identity files until the same field matches on paper.

If no record is found

No record on the day you search is not automatic proof of a scam. It is also not proof that you should pay someone to speed the system.

Safe next action: re-open https://eservices.mohre.gov.ae/ on another day, check you typed the same legal names, and ask HR which official step has been filed. Unsafe next action: send money or an OTP to a helper who promises to create the record tonight.

What this means for you: Treat a missing record as incomplete information. Treat a payment to a personal account, or a request for your OTP, as a reason to stop even if a PDF looks professional.

How to check employer contacts

The person who sends a PDF should be reachable through a channel you can explain to a family member.

Good sign: You receive a written offer, you are given time to read it, and nobody asks for an OTP or a transfer to a personal account while you check MOHRE.

10 red flags

These signs do not let this website declare a scam. They are reasons to pause, verify, and refuse extra risk.

  1. Payment to a personal bank or wallet account.
  2. A request for an OTP, PIN, or internet-banking password.
  3. Strong pressure to pay or travel today.
  4. Job title or basic salary changes after you say yes.
  5. Employer legal name differs across the chat, the PDF, and any official record.
  6. Empty pay, hours, or location fields, with a promise to fill them later.
  7. Refusal to give written terms.
  8. A helper who asks you not to tell your family.
  9. A demand that you skip MOHRE, ICP, or eMigrate checks.
  10. Remote-control access to your phone so someone else can complete official forms.

Red flag: OTP or a personal payment is a pause. Do not continue the file transfer until you have used official MOHRE pages yourself and have a written explanation that does not require those two things.

A verification checklist

You can mark the same fields in the MOHRE job offer verification checklist at /tools/mohre-job-offer-verification-checklist/. That tool prepares your comparison. It does not talk to MOHRE.

Where to go next

If the offer is still incomplete, stay on official pages and written HR answers. If payment or OTP pressure appears, use /guides/dubai-job-scam-red-flags/ and /tools/dubai-job-scam-checker/. If terms look complete, read /tools/uae-employment-contract-checker/ and the visa stages in /guides/uae-work-visa-from-india/. Keep scans off public pages; use /guides/documents-required-dubai-job-from-india/.

Re-check MOHRE at https://eservices.mohre.gov.ae/ and https://www.mohre.gov.ae/, ICP at https://icp.gov.ae/, eMigrate at https://emigrate.gov.in/, and MEA at https://www.mea.gov.in/. This page was reviewed on 4 September 2026. Interfaces change. Open the official site again when your stage changes.

Frequently asked questions

Does a MOHRE record prove the job is safe?

No. An official record can show that a file exists for a named employer and a set of terms. It does not prove that every messenger is honest, that the workplace will suit you, or that later medical or emigration steps will finish. Keep reading the written terms and refuse OTP or personal payments. This website is not connected to MOHRE and cannot certify an offer.

What if I cannot find my offer online?

A missing record can mean the file is not created yet, you typed a detail differently, or you used the wrong official page. It is not, by itself, proof of a scam. Ask the employer in writing which official service and reference to use. Do not pay a private person to find the file. Re-open https://eservices.mohre.gov.ae/ yourself.

Is an offer letter the same as a contract?

Not always. An offer letter is often an early written proposal. An employment contract is the terms for work and should be read in full. A work permit is a later government step. Compare all three when they exist. A chat message is not a contract.

Should I share OTP to “speed up” verification?

No. Never share an OTP, PIN or one-time email code. Type codes only on the official MOHRE or other official page that sent them. A caller who wants the code is asking for your login, not for a faster check.

Where is the official MOHRE service?

Start at https://www.mohre.gov.ae/ and https://eservices.mohre.gov.ae/. This website is not connected to MOHRE and does not host ministry login. If a page address does not match those official sites, close it and type the address yourself.

Ready to take a calm next step?

If the role still looks suitable, you can submit an application. A written offer, not this guide, confirms pay and benefits.
